What makes this place so extraordinary is the size of the lake La Cocha which feeds into a small river Rio Gamez which connects with the Rio Estero surrounded by tall reeds and breath taking scenery of open pastures surrounded by mountains and jungle with a variant in weather.
The small town on the edge of La Cocha is a beautiful sight to behold with its very rustic wooden houses painted in bright colours and some would say it looks like houses that belong in a Swiss mountain village. The people who live here are very true indigenous people of the area with a very friendly demeanor.
You will experience some of the best trout fishing in South America with some of the largest rainbow trout in the world that has been caught in this lake, mainly thanks to the pristine clear waters with correct temperatures and an abundance of food for these fresh water fish.

In the early mornings it can get pretty chilly for people used to hotter climates. The same can be said for the evenings.
During the day it can get very hot but also due to the waters reflections you may not notice how fast you are getting a suntan.
That will vary on each group but on average a minimum of 6 hours actual fishing. We will be governed by weather conditions and by each boats group of persons.
