At an early age I knew I was going to be working with the great outdoors as I would always be down the local woods and waters.
I started to take more of an interest in canoeing and the outdoor life from the age of 18 and have never looked back! Thanks to the military I got to travel and do a lot of adventurous activities which gave me a great position in 1997 when I became the chief instructor of the kayak wing in Cyprus.
From there I have tried to continue my love for the water and the great outdoors by hiking, climbing and anything else I could get away to do. At the age of 46 it is time for me to write the next chapter in my life and this was why I decided to create Colombia Paddlers as a way of sharing my love for conservation and the environment.
